Welcome to our little corporation.  We are a small internet startup that is providing software for the T-Mobile G1 ( The Google Phone).  Our first product is in Commercial release, RDC (Radio's Diabetes Companion).  It is a program that keeps track of blood level readings for Diabetics.  Our goal is to build up a solid infrastructure, with a modular design, that can be readily be adapted to similar systems.

Our original thought was to experiment with open source on our distributions, to support the educational aspects of our site.  We do have a building library of educational videos.  It's a slippery slope though, bringing this into commercial software production.  All source code that was released as Freeware, will remain so.  The commercial programs themselves are being distributed with a fee of $1.

May your visits to the Easel be a pleasant one.  And our programs be a pleasure to use, inclusive of functionality, safety, and stability.  If you'd like to give us feedback it will be greatly appreciated.

Featured Artists Update

Our Featured artists area is a new feature of the Easel.  Here we will spotlight artists from the music industry and fine artists.  It's a branching out into other areas of our interests.   We hope you find that this foray into the artistic community is an enjoyable tangent from the everyday.  Our latest addition to this area is the budding artist, my daughter Claire.

Claire aka "Munchkin" is our darling daughter.  She has been influenced by her mother's artistic endeavors, as well as my hosting of Karen's fabulous work, on the Internet and in our home.  This has motivated her to work dilligently on her drawing skills.   To encourage her I gave her an "Assignment" to create a company logo.  The results you will see in the top left corner of every screen.

Karen Kemp is a cherished addition to our Featured Artist series.  Her artwork is featured on this home page, and in the blog section of the Easel.  She is a wonderful artist that we have been collecting for a few years.  Her work has brightened up our lives in many ways.  It is with great pleasure we include her work on the Easel.

Katrina Marie is a singer songwriter from New England. As part of our Artist series, we searched YouTube for a budding artists. Katrina fits the bill perfectly. Her voice is so melodic, it's like an angel has come to sing for us. We hope by featuring her on our small site, she will blossom into popularity that she well deserves.

We hope you enjoy this new aspect of the Easel.  For feedback you can e-mail me at: radiolistener@radiolistenersElectricEasel.com

RDC has been Released!

RDC (Radio's Diabetes Companion) is in the Spotlight.  The program has now been released on the Android MarketPlace!  This is the Commercial version of the software, v. 1.3.1.  It combines the durability and proven functionality of the Pre-Release version, with more features and some fine tuning, that make it "Commercial Grade"

Features Include:

  • Graphing Function that displays last 30 readings!
  • Two text sizes, for greater Accessiblity.
  • Export Ability, in .csv format (Works on any Spreadsheet)
  • Main listing 2-Way Sorting (By Blood Level or By Date of Reading)
  • Easy entry screen, that provides the ability to add your own comments.
  • Ability to import data from the Alpha 2 preview release.

The Graphing ability is the newest feature.  It is being introduced with one graph of the last 30 readings.  It is fully functional, and all entries are done completely to scale.  The proportions are all set in such a way, that each length is an exact representation of what was entered into the system.  If you have graph requests, let me know, and we'll see what can be done.

The two text sizes was born by a family member with vision issues.  What I wanted to do was give them the ability to see the screen, even with their impairment.  It has proved very useful when displaying the system to people that are far-sighted.

The export ability provides you the ability to have a copy of your data.  By utilizing the USB cable provided with the phone, you can mount the memory card and make a copy of the RDC's data, so you have the ability to open in any spreadsheet.  It also provides the ability to have Backup on your computer or thumb drive, so your precious data is safe.

The data entry screen is your daily mainstay.  In the commercial release it has been further enhanced to have a finer degreee of functionality than the pre-release.

For Alpha2 users, there is an ability to import your data export, so that you can upgrade without losing your valuable data.
